The two most important performance indicators of PIR are false triggering and missed triggering, while the design of industry general level is generally designed and tested only for missed triggering. Because there is no relevant industry rule to evaluate the false triggering, the user experience of false triggering is poor when PIR is used to achieve energy-saving control, intelligent control, etc. Based on the comprehensive evaluation and design, we make the false triggering and missed triggering of products have ideal performance.

PIR fault analysis and anti-interference capability

For many outdoor applications, scene state may seriously affect the detection performance of PIR. For example, under normal circumstances, the ambient temperature is very uniform, the temperature difference between people and the environment is well defined, and PIR works normally. When the situation shown in the right figure occurs, although the ambient temperature is about 20 ° C, it is very suitable for PIR to work, but the ground temperature reaches 29 ° C, which is close to the human temperature.At this time, if PIR is detected through the lower part of the human body, it is easy to miss triggering.
